PAPAYA BULL
Creative Process
Below you will find a little of what I worked on for the development of this original Brazilian program.

PROMOS
3 of 6 spots we used to launch the show
The first version on the left was the original presented to us by the production company. After weeks of tweaking, we agreed on the version in the middle as the look for the character. During script development, we tweaked them a little more to arrive at the final version on the right, which is what went into the 13 episodes of season 1.

BUBBLE DATE - ANIMATIC 1 (1:30)
The following 3 videos have the same first 1:30 of the show. This one is the animatic, edited with all the character voices, so we could determine the pacing and comment on action and intelligibility of the scenes, general direction and art direction.
BUBBLE DATE - SEMI-FINAL ANIMATION (1:30)
At this stage, all notes had been given and processed and final animation is in full swing. Some shots are not finished and still have the animatic in place. But we can understand what the final product will look like.
BUBBLE DATE - FINAL EPISODE (1:30)
All animation is concluded and at this point we are basically approving music and effects for the final episode. This turned out to be much more time consuming than originally scheduled as we decided to add much more incidental music to the final version.

LAUNCH PROMO - HERMANO
Narrated by the dad of the mais character, this spot is like a tourist brochure where Hermano invites viewers to visit the island of Papaya.
LAUNCH PROMO - HIP HOP
Hip hop lyrics describe the main relations between the characters and explain some of the wacky but important plot points of this new show.
LAUNCH PROMO - CACUPE & SOCRATES
Chararcter spot introduces our unlikely hero Cacupe and his unusual "pet", a bull named Socrates.
